Dear Parents,

St. Mary's School, one of Manipuri's prestigious institution was started in a small way to uplift society, through education of boys and girls, It is a matter of pride for me that it is a full fledged Senior Secondary School serving thousands of young people who pass through its portals.

The schools today have a tremendous responsibility of nurturing a deep sense of right and wrong in the minds of our future citizens. Development of intellectual qualities such as reflection, introspection and tolerance becomes imperative as does the ability to overcome negative emotions.

n these times when every nation is talking about peace but actually preparing for war, when money spent on manufacturing a bomb could well be spent on educating millions of children. I am sure St. Mary's will prove to be an ideal dais for the young talents to animate their imagination.
